Rampant Debt, Illiterate Students, Thailand, Don’t Worry

Who really knows how many of the Children of the King (all Thai citizens are like the children of the King, he is a Kingdoms Father Figure) have committed suicide, have lost their land or are lost in depression. From what the government has said, actually not said no one cares. Of course Journalists in Thailand see little need to report, or even research the true state of affairs in the Kingdom. When Thai Universities do not know the difference between verbs and adjectives.  What can they do for the functionally illiterate that they are tasked to educate?
Debt in The country has run rampant and nothing is being done. While one group of the rich and powerful fight the other group of rich and powerful for the biggest piece of the Baht the counrty continues to go to hell in a handbasket.
What should be a matter of National Security is just something else to be ignored by the elite and their lackeys…. (more…)

If it Ain’t Bangkok in Thailand It Just don’t Count

I have heard little or nothing about the situation for some time until I read in the Nation,Thailand’s Nearly English Language Dailies that Tablets may be delayed. As I understood it by now every Prathom 1 student and now I found out every Matthayom 1 should have a tablet.  So an appointment was made and off I went to Kalasin Phitayasai School to talk with teachers and Prathom 1 students.
The levels of the video are bad, but with the exception of my voice bearable. I have been doing this sort of thing in the field in Northeast Thailand for some time and my first concern is to keep things very casual so that it is a conversation not an interview.
