Wat Pa Ban Tad, Luangta Maha Bua 30.01.12 A closing album

I arrived at Wat Pa Ban Tad to document the 1 year observance of the death of Luanta Maha Boowa at about 0500 0n the 30th of January 2012 and left shortly before 0900. I shot a few videos 1 already online and 1 post documenting the morning alms giving.

When I stopped out Sunday at Ban Tad the monks I spoke with had no idea what was going to happen Monday the 30th, but mentioned the size of the crown there for alms round that morning.

Observing the 1 year anniversary of the death of Luangta Maha Bua 8 precepts

People started arriving about 0500, but there was already a fair sized group of people who had spent the night at Wat Pa Ban Tad to be there at the precise time of his death at 0353.

As I said I arrived at the wat about 0600 and there were few folks around, but the numbers grew till alm round. I keep forgetting the sunrises late in the winter. Some monks went off on their regular rounds.

Wat Pa Baan Taad, Luang Ta Maha Boowa Update 03.12.11

I stopped by Wat Pa Baan Taad on my way to Nong Khai Province Saturday moring, arriving just as the last of the monks were finishing their meal for the day just about 0845.
