thaisoI wanted to finish up the tour of Auspicious Thats in Nakhon Phanom and checkout a couple othr thing so Saturday morning we drove from Sakon Nakhon to NaWa District in Nakhon Phanom to see Phra That Prasit and from there to Ta Uthen to check the state of the That there, also stopping at the Two Color River, where to Songkram River meets the Mekhong River and a quick stop at the Dinosaur Footprints before driving into Nakhon Phanom town for a meal and a siesta on that 40 degree celcious day. In the afternoon we visited a number of the Wats mentioned in the guides to include Wat Maha That before an early dinner and sleep. The next morning after a stop at Wat Sithep we headed back to Sakon Nakhon with a stop at  Phrathat Mahachai, There was a fair bit of action in Kusuman as they were getting ready for sports day.
