admin The paraders who got to march or dance or parade during daylight were the lucky ones at the Wax Candle Procession in Sakon Nakhon. More lucky were the ones who were able to perform their routines without having to stop and with music. It is sad that after all these years the municipality cannot present something that allows the people to simple parade through the streets of the city, to let

Wax Candle Procession, Sakon Nakhon, Thailand Daytime Dancers

admin In 17 years in Northeast Thailand this was by far the worst parade I have ever seen. I have complained about the Silk Festival Parade in Khon Kaen, The Candle festival Parade in Ubon, but in more than 50 parades this one was the worst. Ten minutes of parade interrupted 20 minutes of standing around

There were basically 3 venues one at the waterfront which has finished now, one at Ming Muang Municipal Park and on Monday where the Wax Castle procession will end and Auk Pansaa will be observed. If I get ISP issues sorted I will

admin Okay they do some things a bit different here than other places, but most things the same. The government hacks blather on for the better part of an hour and no one listens to them, then the show begins. There are plenty of of police on hand, but they do not do a damn thing but stand around and get in the way
