Sunday Dinner in the Jungle in Isaan

It’s amazing that much of the hot spicy food of days gone by is no longer as prevelant on the dinner tables in the villages, town and cities of Isaan. AS the people I know get older and older, pretty much over 50 or more they are being told by doctors to lay off the hot and spicey fare. Somtam and some of the other hot foods will never disappear and is seen throughout the day.
