Rapids in the Mekong River Mukdahan

The best known of the rapids along the mekong River in Mukdahan Province is known as Kaeng Ka Bao. Located just south of That Phanom,in Nakhon Phanom it is located along the North to South stretch of river that leaves Thailand in Ubon Ratchatani in Amphor Kong Chiam. The largest, most dramatic of the many rapids along the river here is Sam Phan Boke in Ubon
