A Thai Invention (say what?)

I saw this at the Street Food Exhibit at Mahasarakham University at the Streetfood Exihibit When I saw the date I immediately thought that with this kind of deep thought some thai student might invent the wheel in a few years. The education quality of a country shows itself in many ways.

  1. Wow. To tell people that that was invented in 2009, when such devices have been used around the world for the whole of my lifetime is irresponsible, at best. I love living in Thailand, but in my experience, the level of knowledge that the average Thai citizen has about what goes on in the rest of the world is generally limited to what appears in Hollywood movies or cartoons.
