Wat Norawararam ??????????? Nong Sung Mukdahan 49160, Thailand surveyed by “The Culture and art Centere” at Khon Kaen University is located just off route 12 between Somdet and Mukdahan. The road from Somdet in Kalasin to Mukdahan town is somewhat scenic, but I am sure to the surprise of many has a number of places of interest along the way.

No Comments » February 27th, 2012 admin This is another temple surveyed by the “Culture and Art Center” at Khon Kaen University. They make no mention of age as far as I can see. There are a large number of temples in central Nong Khai town, about 20 or so along Meechaai road and the river in central Nong Khai town alone.

As far as I can determine from a document I found in the Fine Arts Departmet the sim was built in 2404B.E.

February 24th, 2012 admin I get quite amused by many of the posts and pictures I see of Isaan food, and people eating Isaan food.I especially enjoy seeing what people call somtam.Of course there is nothing wrong with any of it it is just lacks the Isaanness that makes it really IsaanHere’s a somtam I would guess not many people outside certain areas of Isaan have ever experienced. It is a type of sohk lek with another twist.If you know Isaan food you should be able to identify all the ingredients.

February 23rd, 2012 admin I am sure everyone has had their fill of news and updates about the Thailand 40th National Games (catch up at khonkaen retirement)that are being held in Khon Kaen. The 1 meter wide by 2 tall that surrounded Beung Kaen Nakhon have disappeared, finally clearing the footpath for early morning exercise.
