A visit to Mahasarakham University Isaan

Add caption I spend a fair amount of time at the University, actually having just discovered many of its’ secrets the past year. First of all is the MSU Museum, which is really an exhibit of isaan style houses and well worth a visit just inside the main entrance to the North Campus.

Chiang Khan, Loei along the Mekhong to Sri Chiangmai, nong Khai 25.11.11, an Isaan Journey

I got out of “khao san road on the mekhong” aka Chiang Khan as soon as I photographed pseudo pindabaht and stopped at Keang Khut Ku for a might fine cup of espresso and some shots of the rocks in the morning mist.AS the river recedes the rocks and beaches begin to appear along this, nearly 200 kilometer of river.

Isaan we aint gone yet! Well it seems some of the folks around Bangkok are none to pleased about the way the water is being handled and have been revolting. Here in Thailand it is the governments function to be not only revolting but corrupt and ineffectual as well
