11.11.11 Isaan Update

Well Loy Krathong has come and gone and today is Veterans or Rememberence Day.
As a Viet Nam Veteran “Chjok Dii Pom”. Iwill toast myself later today.

The weather has ben cool up here and predicted to get cooler and many of the flood victims are still without warm bedding or clothing. Much of the land is still underwater and folks are spending hours a day in it trying to save what rice they can. I am off toward rhe Mekhong to see conditions for tourism for the upcoming sunny cols season and will be tweeting and posting my way along the river for a few days.

Tomorrow at 0600 local time the Isaan Lice Podcast Episode 22 should be appearing on this site.
